More Model Ports! – Phoenix Fashion Photographer

Posted on October 14, 2009

Yep…they come in waves. Model portfolios are my favorite (next to bridal fashion and chubby babies). They are fun and I really enjoy working with models. Last week I shot with Jaman, one of the seasoned girls. This week I worked with Morgan from SIM Agency. She has been modeling for two years now and has just drastically changed her hair from blonde to brunette. LOVE IT! Her are two shots from our session today downtown.  (Oh and please give a golf clap to me. I am so trying to work with studio lighting. It’s a process people, don’t be too harsh.) First shot is studio and second is natural light. Comparison is that the natural light ones have more grain, but I still favor the feel of natural light. Although she does look quite stunning. Oh and this time I will give a high five to Pamela, she is a stylist I have worked with before as a photographer and a model. You know my heart is loyal to Linda…but I think Pamela did a beautiful job today. :)

I am up my eyeballs in shoots this week. I will try to keep you posted on all the fun stuff. Hope you are all enjoying fall break. We just returned from a little “vaca” with the family. Well I worked and Brendan did manual labor for my parents. So maybe only the kids had the vacation. Now back to work! (I did finally clean my sensor so hopefully those pesky spots will disappear. Why didn’t I do it sooner???) Ohhhh and I rented a tilt shift. the rental guy has me all freaked out that I am going to have a tough time feeling it out. Well tomorrow I have a Bride and a Newborn so we will see if I can get at least (1) great tilt shift shot at each session or if it will end up back in my bag. Check back and I will tell you how it went.

P.S. You gotta love how I am actually in the reflection of the truck bumper. I will probably crop it out later but for now, at least I am making an appearance on the blog!
